Hey Readers!
Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Australian premiere of THRILLER LIVE at QPAC to celebrate the undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Thriller Live opened in London in 2009 and has now moonwalked it's way over to Australia.

I have been a Michael Jackson fan for years. I remember being made fun of in Year 7 for it but I soldiered on and even performed a solo dance to Blame It On The Boogie in front of my class. Michael Jackson's death not only brought myself to tears but also his fans across the world. Although I never had the chance to experience a Michael Jackson concert in all it's natural, original glory, this is the closest I will come to seeing the real thing.

For over two hours, the audience listened to the songs that introduced the world to him. The night started off with a refresher from his younger days. Songs included: I Want You Back,  Blame It On The Boogie and Can You Feel It. The night got better as some of my personal favourites were performed: Billie Jean, Beat It, Man In The Mirror, Bad, Black Or White, Smooth Criminal and of course, Thriller (So, basically everything).

Not only was I blown away by the vocals (I'm looking at you, Prinnie Stevens), I was absolutely in awe of the dancing. It continued to blow me away as the night progressed. The two performances I can't get out of my head were Smooth Criminal and Billie Jean. The choreography was everything that I would expect Michael Jackson to do. I felt like I was watching him dance on stage. I applaud the dancers who are extremely talented and brought this to life with such precision.

What I also loved about the show was the performers inviting the audience to join in at multiple occasions. We got to stand up, join in on the dancing and even help the singers by yelling out the words to the songs. I know I wasn't the only one with the biggest smile on my face bopping to Michael Jackson's greatest hits. I took my Mum who was clapping along, dancing in her seat and who enjoyed it as much as I did. I am extremely jealous she grew up while these songs were being introduced to the world.
It was such a wonderful night and I'm so happy I was able to go along. I highly recommend you book your tickets to THRILLER LIVE! It will be running at QPAC until January 25th. It is such a great concert and you shouldn't miss out! It was all my Mum and I were able to talk about afterwards.

Below I have some imagery provided for use and what I wore.
