Hey Readers!
I've put together a very simple 'boho' outfit for this post. I love brown tones, they are so easy to wear and style. It always looks natural and effortless. My playsuit fits a very bohemian aesthetic and is perfect for the beach - just add a fedora and you're set!

The boots I'm wearing in this post are clearly a different tone to my playsuit. Neutrals-on-neutrals restore my trust in creating a simple tonal look. These boots add height and almost a country-like style. They are perfect as a transeasonal staple to any wardrobe. I think it's important to invest in pieces that are going to last more than one season. They are the perfect tan shade and are leather, which is important for me as they will last longer and not be marked as easily as other styles. Durability, ladies! The stacked heel allows comfortability and are easy to walk in.

My outfit details will be provided at the bottom of this post.

Hey Readers!
I am so happy that this is my 100th post! It's taken 3 years, but I'm happy I've made it this far. Leading up to this, I wasn't sure what I wanted this post to be. But I thought I'd make it as simple as having a humorous look back and to thank all of my readers for taking the time to check out Fashion Avenue.

I started my blog in 2011, I was in my final year of high school. I started Fashion Avenue because I didn't want to have to wait for a degree in Journalism and Fashion to start my fashion writing. I decided to be ambitious and do it myself via a blog. It's been a massive commitment and has definitely been challenging. Doing a blog post isn't as easy as taking a few shots and writing some words. So many hours of planning, editing etc. go into creating a post that is readable and enjoyable.

Last Sunday I celebrated my 3rd year of Fashion Avenue, so this 100th post couldn't come at a better time. This is what I wore last weekend:

My two best friends, Hayley and Rachelle.
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Windsor Smith
Bag - Betts

However, blogging isn't as glamorous as it seems. It takes time to get a decent shot. If you know me well, you'll know I like to have a laugh. Also, the wind isn't always on my side.
Here is a demonstration of what blogging is really like:

As you can see, things don't always turn out as planned, haha.
I'd like to thank everyone and anyone who has read a post, messaged me personally or even clicked on this link! I really appreciate all of the support I receive for Fashion Avenue. It's been a tough but fun 3 years and I've really enjoyed blogging.
Take what you do seriously, not yourself seriously.

Here's to another 100 posts!

Hey Readers!
This outfit is very girly and perfect for a Sunday spent with family - that's exactly what I did!
I haven't really embraced floral prints in the past, but I accepted this one with open arms.
This playsuit features splashes of green, lavender and orange on a dainty white background. I decided to add my favourite fedora alongside some embellished ankle boots to pull off a festival look.

This outfit is perfect for a hot Autumn day. Here in Brisbane, it still feels like Summer. Which is a 100% justifiable excuse to wear breezy playsuits!

The embellishments in my boots matched perfectly with the gold detailing on my fedora. It's all about having an eye for what works in your wardrobe. Not to mention, remembering what is actually IN your wardrobe. It helps to have a designated space for each category. This makes choosing what to wear SO much easier. It's a time killer.

All of my outfit details will be at the bottom of the post, as usual!
