Hey Readers!
As Spring is ending and Summer is just around the corner, adding colour to your wardrobe is a MUST.
Pink is one of my favourite colours to wear and it is on trend for this season. My theme colours (as you can see below) are pink and white. I decided to add a pink lip and white heels to balance it out.
I find that wearing white gives off such a fresh look and it is the perfect base for Summer brights.
This is definitely one of my favourite outfits for this Summer. It can be worn up or down with confidence!

You can get the look yourself from Pemba Boutique! They have free shipping within Australia which is a total win for me! Plus a flat rate of $15 AUD for all international shipping.
You can be sure to find a colourful addition to your wardrobe from Pemba. For all my fellow Brisbane girls, they are based here too!

On their website they state,

"Our philosophy is to buy as much as possible directly from the makers and present a highly fashionable and remarkable range of stock with a strong design element."

Alongside clothing, they also sell accessories, which is another tick off the list.

My shoes are from Zu, My bracelet is from Realm of Hu and my lip colour is an Australis Velourlips Matte Cream in MAL-I-BOO.
I'll let you in on a little secret, this lip colour is a perfect match with the skort!

Enjoy and Happy Summer!

Hey Readers!
This is an outfit post on what I wore to the Melbourne Cup here in Brisbane at Doomben Racecourse.
I had this look in my head for a few months leading up to it and only got myself sorted the day before, ha! But I was really happy with how it came out.
I went for a nautical dress with a black wide-brimmed hat, black shoes and bold red lips. I also opted for gold jewellery.
I wasn't too sure what I wanted to with my hair until on the day. I woke up thinking loose curls, but I thought I would straighten it for once. I'm glad I wore it straight seeing as it was a very windy day and my curls would've been in messy waves by the end of it!

Below are photos of my outfit and close ups of my make up, which I did myself.
Outfit details at the end.

I hope you enjoy this post!

Usually I feel uncomfortable taking close ups, but I wanted to show my make up!

Dress - Forever New
Hat - Myer
Shoes - Wittner (borrowed from sister)

Hey Readers!
I was very lucky to be invited to the Brisbane Designer Fashion Show a couple of weeks ago alongside my other Brisbane fashion blogger friends, Ashleigh and Yolanda.
It was organised by the very talented designer Niki Teljega, who also showcased her work.
It was held at the Old Museum in Bowen Hills and was beautifully set out.

There was something I loved from every designer and they all had a unique aesthetic.
Ashleigh, Yolanda and I felt privileged to be able to take photos for this event.
Below I have chosen my favourites from the show!

A big thank you to Niki for the ticket and for organising an amazing event!
