REVIEW: ELEMIS SKIN NOURISHING BODY SCRUB & PRO-COLLAGEN BODY SERUM

Hey hey,
This week I'm giving you an insight into a couple of products that have been my #bffls in the last couple of months. Skincare is super important but it's easy to focus on what's going on on yo' face rather than the rest of your body. I've found two products that I absolutely adore and that make me feel a million bucks. Introducing Elemis - Britain's best beauty brand. Their products are pristine and they've won over 200 awards and have many spas across the world.
The good news is that you don't have to go all the way to the UK to get your hands on the brand. Australian-based online store, RY is the largest hair and skincare online store and stocks Elemis. They have FREE delivery for orders over $99 and you always get free samples, no matter how small or big your order is.

Two of the products I am LOVING from RY are the Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub and the Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Serum.
I find the body scrub is perfect to use before fake tanning and is also great to remove any dead skin, especially coming in to summer. I've been using this a lot lately and I find it's best used with a body brush. That way, I can take my time and also stimulate circulation in the body.
The serum makes my skin unbelievably soft. When I first tried it, I was absolutely blown away by the results. I would purchase this over and over again. It makes my skin so soft and there's a noticeable difference, which is what sets it apart from serums I've tried from other brands in the past.

Check out some of RY's Elemis skincare sets - perfect for Christmas presents!

A LITTLE SPARKLE

Happy Monday, lovers!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and hope you're feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
This week I'm adding a little sparkle to the blog with my new outfit post. I've always stayed clear of white, just because I never thought it suited me and my skin tone. But in the last year or so, it's become a staple in my wardrobe.
For the love of all things pretty, I couldn't go past showing this beauty of a dress on the blog! It's actually super comfy and is the perfect dress for a special occasion.

Naturally, I pared this dress back with white heels. This helps keep things fresh and clean. If you're going for this look yourself, add some dainty gold jewellery and you'll be ready to fly out the door!

Check out how you can get a similar look below.

HOW TO: STYLE A SLEEVELESS COAT

Greetings loved ones! (OK, that was from California Girls)
I hope your weekend was fabulous and your week is going well. I'm here to lift your spirits and give you some styling advice for the week ahead.
Lately I've been loving sleeveless coats and to show you why you could possibly feel the same as I do, I thought I'd do up a post for you! I know, I'm so generous.

Sleeveless coats aren't just for winter! Also, why would you want to be wearing anything sleeveless then?! Unless you're wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath, then I'll forgive you. But I am loving them for spring/summer the most. Incorporating one in an outfit is a cute way to change up your look and add a little something different. Instead of a top and shorts combo on its own, add a sleeveless coat in a neutral shade for a more chic look. You can wear it like I have below, with a dress or with jeans. It's a versatile piece that will last you season to season - winning!

In this post, I mixed a couple of shades of grey (unfortunately, not 50 - that would be hard) which worked alongside my black shorts and shoes. I loved this look as soon as I put it on and if you haven't yet been introduced to the majestic sleeveless coat, welcome! While you two get to know each other, how about you scroll down and check out how I've styled one. Take a leaf out of my book of copious amounts of leaves and liven up your summer wardrobe!

HOW TO: WEAR A CAPE

Happy Monday!
This week, I'm showing you how to wear a cape the right way. I love this style, as it's sophisticated and fun at the same time. A cape can be your new alternative to a blazer and it still keeps your shoulders covered and can be worn with different garments.

When I was putting together my outfit this week, I decided to pair my cape with some gorgeous camel culottes. Camel is a hot colour for this season, looks amazing with white and balances out top and cape combo perfectly. Since this top is a midriff and I wanted to keep this outfit appropriate for a classy occasion, adding culottes ensures there's no excessive gap between the midriff and the bottoms. A little bit of gap is fine, but make sure you check the dress code at your racing event just in case! Personally, I'd stay away from short shorts, unless they're tailored and closer to knee-length.
Don't forget to have fun with it! If you haven't tried before, add a neutral toned cape to your wardrobe - it's the cutest staple!

Check out below to see how you can get a similar style (psst, you can also get the exact same culottes).

MIND THE GAP

Happy Monday, lovers!
This is my final post from my little trip to Melbourne a few weeks ago! For this post, I wanted to do something a little more casual, but something that can be dressed up with the right shoes and accessories.
Instead of stepping into some sandals and grabbing my handbag, I decided to go with heels and a clutch. You'd be suprised how much difference a swap-out can make. I had the best time exploring the city and was stoked to find GAP in Melbourne Central! I had to grab this tee - I have a thing for simple garments where you can just throw it on and be done with it. I also had to match the red with my lips, of course!
