PEONY

Hey Readers!
One thing I love about Summer fashion is walking into a store and seeing the amount of colour gracing the racks. For someone who lives in black, black and more black, it's definitely refreshing to see colourful options. Alongside an array of Summer brights, there are copious amounts of prints to choose from.

You see, florals have never been my thing. It's not a favourite of mine and I generally steer clear of floral patterns. However, I broke that promise when I came across this little gem of a jumpsuit! This is the best way to incorporate florals, if I do say so myself! Sophisticated, pretty and definitely not overdoing it. The style of this jumpsuit is right up my alley. The cute corset top isn't too low-cut which makes it suitable for a number of occasions. I also like having support around the bust area and this does just that. The jumpsuit also comes with side pockets which is a nice little addition to a perfectly crafted garment.

I ended up wearing this outfit to the launch of a fashion magazine I was a part of for uni.
For those who don't want to go too casual with wearing pants and not so formal by wearing a dress, a jumpsuit will be a hit at your next Summer soirĂ©e!

Enjoy!

GIFT GUIDE: MY TOP 3 DESIGNER PERFUMES

Hey Readers!
Christmas is creeping up on us meaning it's time to give! It's an ancient family proverb that one does not know exactly what to get a member of the family for Christmas. OK, maybe I just made that up, but it's a reality. I always expect lists from my family members so I know exactly what they want without struggling. BUT! When living in a house full of girls, there is one gift that I know will be welcomed with open arms - perfume.
Ah, perfume. So delightful, so appropriate and so delicious. Perfume is one thing you can not have enough of. Whether it's for Mother's Day, Christmas or birthdays, there are endless options to choose from. Some may see this as a problem.

What isn't too overwhelming?
What can be worn for a number of occasions and day to night?
What is perfume?

I surely hope the last question isn't actually being asked. What a nightmare that would be.
Where was I? YES, perfume.
Another problem is the pricing. You don't want to spend more than you can afford but you want something that is good value for money. Thankfully, this Christmas you can get the hottest perfumes for great prices without even leaving your home..or bed.
The Perfume Clearance Centre offers amazing discounts. It will save you stressing over a car park in peak shopping times and will save you the stress of potentially breaking your gift budget.

I've made it even easier for you this year by sharing my top 3 favourite designer perfumes:
This is one of my go-to perfumes. It's a very feminine scent and I love it for during the day, as it smells very fresh. It's quite woody and has Cranberry, Musk and Dark Chocolate notes. This perfume is for the sporty, sensual, free-spirited and stylish.

This scent is perfect for any member of the family. It's a very warm scent and is very appealing. It is very feminine, yet classy. Notes include Jasmine, Apple, Amber and Cedarwood. It's the perfect concoction of all things lovely.

This is my favourite designer perfume. I only use this perfume for special occasions because I love it too much. It's fruity, floral and is very fresh. It's quite oriental and is quite a captivating scent. I purely use this for night only as it adds that extra something. It can be defined as also being woody. Notes include Hyacinth, Iris and Vanilla. It definitely one you need to put on your wish list!

All of these perfumes can be purchased from the Perfume Clearance Centre with incredible discounts to rival the biggest department stores. All items are shipped the next business day and shipping costs are affordable.

MELBOURNE CUP 2014

Hey Readers!
I apologise for the delayed post on my outfit for Melbourne Cup. I love dressing up each year and making it totally different from the last. This year, I decided to embrace the white-on-white trend. It's fresh, it's easy to style and it's one hell of a risk (avoid red wine and dirty seats, people!).

Melbourne Cup fashion is known for bold colours and eccentric fascinators. However, I wanted to keep it simple this year. I didn't wear a fascinator or a hat, but a head chain. It gave my outfit a bohemian feel and I loved the way it turned out. Consider this my 'boho' take on the classic Melbourne Cup fashion.

Enjoy!

BAG A BARGAIN WITH STEFAN THIS CHRISTMAS

Hey Readers!
Christmas is just around the corner, which is absolutely insane. I swear I was just celebrating the new year! Since Christmas IS well and truly on its way, it's time to hit the shops and start getting gifts organised for family and friends. Or if you're already organised or need a break from the chaos, why not spoil yourself a little bit? It's time to reward yourself for all of your hard work!

Stefan is about to launch their new Christmas promotion. You can choose 1 of 4 amazing bags (2 of which you can see in the photos below) and fill it up with as many Stefan and ECO COCO goodies as you like and get them for half price! Not only are the goodies going to be worth it, but so will the bag! They are such a great size. I'll be using mine for beach days and little getaways! The amount of stuff you can pack into these bags is insane. You will go home feeling very lucky!

Now, what would a bag be without using it for fashion purposes? I styled 2 of the bags in my own little way.I added a fuchsia top with vibrant shorts against the black canvas bag. My shorts feature dark tones which matched the black accessories perfectly. The pockets at the front of the bag are perfect for your phone, purse and even some snacks (if you're like me and constantly need to eat).

For my second outfit, it was based on the 'sports luxe' trend. The grey top and black split pants were a perfect match for the gold bag. It's so easy to chuck in a towel, some sunscreen, a magazine and a bottle of water on your way out the door to the beach. It was also a cute addition to the gold hat!

Make sure you keep an eye out for the promotion to snatch up some amazing Stefan and ECO COCO goodies!

Show off your goodies and what bag you choose using the #mystefanxmasbag

I got my model on for the day to be a part of the social media campaign!

While I'm sure I'm not the only one living in envy of Melbourne and Sydney residents who have access to this global chain, I cannot wait to see how H&M impacts the Brisbane retail scene.

SWIMWEAR SEASON: PART 1

Hey Readers!
It's getting HOTHOTHOT here in Brisbane which means it's time to dust off that swimwear and put it to good use. Swimwear is definitely something I have difficulty buying. I have strict requirements of what I look for, so I've put together some swimwear that I give the good ol' tick of approval. I thought I'd start things off with this series by showing you this vibrant bikini from Talulah.

Thank you Talulah for creating this wonder of the swimwear world! It's has a beautiful print, a cute cut and it feels secure. Security is definitely something any girl should put as a #1 when looking for a bikini. I would prefer not to relive that time when my bikini bottoms fell to my ankles while being thrown in the surf. Oh it happened and it was a struggle!

Whatever your style may be, I have some wonderful pieces to show you as we cruise our way into Summer. Catch ya poolside!

Enjoy!

CHAIN

Hey Readers!
I have a new outfit post for you, woo! This post is focusing on my sports-luxe dress that I got from H&M in Paris. This was my first purchase from H&M (alongside some undergarments, ahem) and I really love it. I tried it on when I was there and I loved how comfortable the fabric was and how it looked. I had to purchase it! I sleep in big T-shirts and this felt like one. I now have to restrain myself from taking this to the streets to my bed. Lord, help me.

The chain detail reminds me of Balmain and I love the jersey lettering and numbers. I paired this with my white converse to really pull the 'sporty' look together. Comfortable and stylish, what more could I want for the warmer months?!

Enjoy!

ACTIVE

Hey Readers!
In the words of Olivia Newton-John, "let's get physical!"..too far? Whether or not you already have a fitness regime or still need to "hear your body talk" (OK, I'll stop), You can get some great gear like I have from DFO Jindalee.
This is my final post as a DFO Blogger Ambassador and it's been so fun exploring and experiencing what the retailers have to offer. But most of all it's been amazing showing you what you can get and how you can put your own looks together!
As you can probably tell by the title and the first sentence, this is a fitness post! Here I have put together an outfit full of great brands that will motivate you to get to the gym!

I know there are so many wonderful brands and an array of bright colours to choose from when shopping for fitness gear. However, I thought I'd tone it down for this post and choose tones that suit everyone. This way you can already see what tones and styles may work for you so you can explore further options later.

Sport has always been a big part of my life. I was a competitive swimmer for a majority of my life and have participated in numerous sports growing up. I even got 'Sportsperson of the Year' in Year 11! After high school, it was definitely harder to participate in sport but at least I get to wear pretty gear while doing it!
If you're not comfortable showing your stomach when working out, you can easily add a singlet or T-shirt over the top. It's all about feeling confident but comfortable!

I added a pop of colour with my shoes. I wear these whenever I want to work out. They're pink, can you blame me?!

Enjoy!

Racer Crop + Shoes: Nike
Tights: Lorna Jane

All available at DFO Jindalee
